James Sechrist, born February 29, 1852 in York County, PA, was the 6th child and 4th son of John Sechrist and Susan Frey.  He married Cordelia Susan Reichard and they resided all over the state of Pennsylvania as James was a Reverend.  James And Cordelia were the parents of six children, who were named Stella, Gretta, Hensyl, Maud, Mabel and Ethel.  James passed away in 1930 and Cordelia in 1921, and both are buried at Red Lion Cemetery in Red Lion, York County, PA.

   1. Lorena Williams born May 1, 1898 in Centre County, PA, died April 26, 1989 in Potter County, PA and buried at John Lyman Cemetery in Potter County, PA.  She married Robert Lyman born October 9, 1894, died April 2, 1974 and buried at John Lyman Cemetery in Potter County, PA.
   2. Adeline Williams born March 9, 1900 in PA, died May 24, 1982 in FL and buried at Lauderdale Memorial Park in Broward County, FL.  She married Paul Cauffiel born March 2, 1895 in PA, died September 21, 1956 in Potter County, PA and buried at Eulalia Cemetery in Potter County, PA.
   3. Gretchen Williams born September 27, 1904 in PA and died July 1971 in PA.  She married (first) George Griffith born December 12, 1894 in PA and died June 26, 1988 in PA.  She married (second) Harry Ryan born May 9, 1901 and died March 1971 in PA.
2. Gretta Sechrist born June 21, 1881 in PA, died April 28, 1964 in Clinton County, PA and buried at Saint Agnes Cemetery in Clinton County, PA.  She married John Haberstroh born October 1, 1875 in PA, died July 10, 1925 and buried at Saint Agnes Cemetery in Clinton County, PA.
   1. John Henry Haberstroh born August 27, 1910 in Clinton County, PA, died May 22, 1937 in PA and buried at Saint Agnes Cemetery in Clinton County, PA.
   2. Richard Haberstroh born March 13, 1912 in Clinton County, PA, died Novemebr 25,1 990 in TX and buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso County, TX.  He married Norma Pecora born May 24, 1918, died January 4, 2009 and buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso County, TX.
   3. Jane Haberstroh born September 27, 1916 in Clinton County, PA and died March 8, 2002.  She married (first) John Sorgen born August 4, 1915 and died March 12, 1991.  She married (second) Wilmer Rosenberger.  She married (third) Clarence Lee.
3. Hensyl Sechrist born April 11, 1883 in PA, died January 30, 1940 in Los Angeles County, CA and buried at forest Lawn Memorial Park in in Los Angeles County, CA.  He married Hazel Beckwith born October 19, 1888 and died August 1967 in WA.
   1. Hensyl Sechrist born May 23, 1919 in NY, died December 17, 1941 in Los Angeles County, CA and buried at Aneglus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles County, CA.
