8. Leah Sechrist

Leah Sechrist, born April 2, 1828 in York County, PA, was the 9th child of Henry Sechrist and the second child born to Henry’s second wife Catherine Weinhold.  She married Charles Grove and they resided in Windsor Twp, York County, PA for most of their lives until they retired to Red Lion, York County, PA.  Leah and Charles were the parents of at least eight children, who were named Nathaniel, Henry, Frederick, Francis, Titus, Mary Ellen, Noah and Edward.  Leah passed away in 1905 and Charles in 1902, and both are buried at Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Windsor Twp, York County, PA..
