Catherine married George Kemmerly and they sponsored the birth of her brother Frederick’s daughter Catherine in 1813. In 1810, based on information from the census, we know they lived in Windsor Twp. George passed away in 1825, as his will was written on January 22, 1825. Based on the will, it appears Catherine and George did not have any children that were still living by 1825. His will divides his estate evenly among 4 nieces and nephews, Catherine Miller, daughter of Michael Miller and Elizabeth Zellers, Catherine Miller, daughter of Frederick Miller and Susanna Paules, Catherine Kaler, daughter of Daniel Kaler and Barbara Miller and Henry Kemmerle, son of Michael Kemmerle, who was George’s brother. The 1830 census shows Catherine Comerly living in Windsor Twp with a male age 10-14 and a female age 20-29. In 1840, Catherine Kemerly was still residing in Windsor Twp with a male age 20-29. By 1850, Catherine was living with Frederick & Elizabeth Anstine in York Twp. Catherine was Elizabeth’s aunt, Elizabeth being the daughter of Michael Miller, Jr. In 1860, Catherine was still living with Frederick & Elizabeth, but by now they had moved to Shrewsbury Twp. Catherine passed away in 1867 and is buried at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shrewsbury Twp.
