1. Tobias Miller

Tobias Miller married Catherine Elisabeth Eisenhauer, the date of their marriage is unknown. Tobias owned approximately 150 acres in Shrewsbury Twp (now Springfield Twp), the property is located between the present day exits of Glen Rock and Loganville of Interstate 83. In 1760, he was elected Constable of Shrewsbury Township, in 1761 he was elected Assessor and in 1774 he was elected Supervisor. Based upon will, estate, Orphans Court and church records, Tobias and Catherine were the parents of 11 children, most of which were baptized at Friedensaal’s church. Their children were Anna Catherine, Henry, Elizabeth, Eva Catherine, Susanna, Sabina, Herman, Christina, Anna Maria, Maria Magdalena and Tobias. They both passed away while residing in York County, PA, the location of the burial site is not known.  His youngest brother Michael Miller was the executor to his estate.

Henry Miller born January 14, 1756 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA, died November 29, 1834 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA and buried at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA.  He married Sophia Hively who was born September 10, 1758 in PA and died February 19, 1834 in York County, PA.  They had two confirmed children, Sophia Sabina and Magdalena.
    1. Sophia Sabina Miller who was born March 4, 1780 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA and was baptized March 26, 1780 at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA.
    2. Magdalena Miller who was born January 23, 1782 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA, baptized February 10, 1782 at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA and died in 1870 in PA.  She married David Jameson born July 29, 1763 in York County, PA and died August 22, 1820 in York County, PA.
  2. Anna Catherine Miller born December 24, 1758 in Shrewbury Twp, York County, PA, baptized April 15, 1759 at Christ Lutheran Church, York, PA, and died sometime after 1850 (she was listed in the 1850 census).  She married (first) Jacob Schmuck on June 17, 1781 at Trinity Reformed Church in York, PA.  His birth date is unknown and he died before 1792, as that is when his Estate and Orphans Court records begin.  His records indicate that his wife Anna Catherine was the daughter of Tobias Miller.  They had 2 children named, John and Jacob.  After Jacob passed away, she married (second) Anthony Frey born September 29, 1760 in Pennsylvania and died sometime after 1850 (he was listed in the 1850 census).  They had four children, Juliana, Lydia, Samuel and Catherine.

John Schmuck born July 25, 1783 in York County, PA, died October 29, 1872 in Wyandot County, OH and buried at Old Lutheran Cemetery, Wyandot County, OH.  He married Eva Hildebrand born June 21, 1784 in York County, PA, died October 26, 1872 in Wyandot County, OH and buried at Old Lutheran Cemetery, Wyandot County, OH
    2. Jacob Schmuck born December 26, 1785 in York County, PA, died January 8, 1873 in Wayne County, IN and buried at Brick Church Cemetery in Wayne County, IN.  He married Catherine Hildebrand born October 2, 1782 in York County, PA, died October 2, 1870 in York County, PA and buried at Brick Church Cemetery in Wayne County, IN.
    3. Juliana Frey born September 8, 1793 in York County, PA and baptized at St. Peter’s Reformed Church, Springfield Twp, York County, PA
    4. Lydia Frey born August 10, 1796 in York County, PA and baptized October 2, 1796 at St Peter’s Reformed Church, Springfield Twp, York County, PA

  3. Elizabeth Miller born about 1762 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA.  She married Jacob Meyer who died about 1820 in York County, PA.  They had 2 children, John and Catherine.  Nothing additional is known about the children.
  4. Eva Catherina Miller born May 22, 1766 in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA and baptized July 6, 1766 at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA.  She married Christian Henry, son of Nicholas Henry and Margarethe Zediker, born July 30, 1760 in York County, PA, baptized September 28, 1768 at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA, died April 7, 1827 in York County, PA and buried at Friedensaal’s Church in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, PA.  They had 4 children, Elizabeth, Michael, Jacob, George.
