4. Mary Ellen Miller

Mary Ellen, who was the seventh child and youngest daughter of Jacob and Anna Maria, was
born on August 28, 1853. She married Edward Garver Williams (known as E.G. Williams), the son of John Williams and Eva Garver. E.G. was a pastor who served many Reformed churches. He was a pastor at the Freysville Union Church and was the first pastor of St. John’s Reformed Church in Red Lion. His career took him and his family to many different locations, having resided in Ohio and North Carolina. Mary Ellen and E.G. were the parents of six children, who were Eliza Jane, John, Jacob, Edward, Calvin and Grace. E.G. passed away on August 22, 1920 in North Carolina. After his death, Mary Ellen moved back to Ohio where she resided until she passed away on October 1, 1940. Both Mary Ellen and E.G. are buried at the Red Lion Cemetery in Red Lion, PA, even though they hadn’t resided in PA for a very long time.
