3. Eliza Jane Miller

Eliza Jane, the sixth child, was born on June 10, 1852. She was baptized by Reverend David Blosser, who was another Reformed pastor in the Freysville Union Church. Eliza Jane did not marry, she was single her entire life. When her father Jacob moved to Red Lion, she moved with him to the home on the northwest corner of North Main St. and First Avenue. She then purchased the home from her father’s estate in 1896 and resided at this home until her death. Eliza Jane passed away on April 9, 1928 and she is buried in the same plot as her parents at the Freysville Cemetery.

Home of Jacob Miller in Red Lion. This house is located on the northeast corner of N. Main St. and First Avenue. Jacob and his daughter Eliza Jane resided there and Eliza Jane purchased this from the estate of Jacob when he passed away. The addition that was added to the front of the home was done after the home was sold when Eliza Jane passed away.
